SOLD US WW2 COLT 1911A1 U.S. ARMY PISTOL ….OCT, 1944 SHIPMENT TO SPRINGFIELD ARMORY….. VERY SHARP!

In 97% very sharp condition, we have a great example of an mid 1944 production Colt 1911a1 US Army Service Pistol.  This pistol is 100% factory original as is left Colts.  It was shipped to Springfield Armory sometime in October 1944.  This is a top condition example of Colt’s later war production with the Parko Lubrite finish. The period correct “F” marked Colt barrel has a decent bore and the mag is Colt marked as well.  This is a great example of Colts mid 1944 production and it is a great example of America’s Iconic Military Pistol of the 20th Century.    This is a completely original gun with high condition and priced very attractively as well.
