WED 12-11 SCARCE SWEDISH M/39 PISTOL, WALTHER HEERES PISTOLE P.38 VARIANT, 2ND DELIVERY……MINT SHARP!!!

In 97% very sharp and attractive condition, we have a very scarce and seldom seen Walther Heeres Pistole from the 2nd Delivery of the well known Swedish Contract.  These Pistols are referred to by Collectors as the” Swedish HP” variant but they were known in Sweden as the M/39.  There was a first shipment of 1,000 pistols in 1939 and a second shipment of 500 guns in early 1940.  These 2nd delivery pistols had the new round firing pin and there was no longer an H prefix to the serial number.  They are quite similar to a third Zero Series or a 480 code P.38.  This pistol is all matching with a mint bore.  The best part abut it is that the very beautiful high grade commercial Walther blued finish is nearly all intact, making for a visually stunning Pistol.  This is an extremely rare P.38 Variant that many people will want to have in their collection.
