sold US WW2 REMINGTON RAND 1911A1 PISTOL….. EARLY PRODUCTION 2ND SLIDE LOGO….. DU LITE FINISH….VERY NICE!

In 96% condition, 100% factory original and correct, we have a top example of an  early production 2nd slide logo Remington Rand 1911a1 Pistol.  This pistol was manufactured in September, 1943 and has the very desirable Du Lite sandblasted blue finish, which on this gun is a very attractive deep blue gray color. This pistol is notable for two reasons, it was one of the last of the Du Lite sand blasted blue finished pistols and it was at the end of the use of the 2nd slide logo.    These early Remington Rands with this rich blue-gray finish are highly sought after by collectors and this is a prime example that will make any collector happy.
