SOLD US NAVY ISSUED SMITH & WESSON VICTORY MODEL REVOLVER…..38 SPECIAL… TO NORFOLK 7/44…..MINT UN-FIRED WITH S&W LETTER!!!

In 98%+ mint crisp un-fired condition, all matching including the grips,we have a 1944 production US NAVY issued Smith & Wesson Victory model revolver in .38 special with the standard 4 inch barrel.   According to the S&W letter this was shipped to  the Norfolk, VA Navy yard on July 24, 1944.  The bore is mint and the black magic finish really pops on this one, it just has storage wear.  This is the classic US Naval Aviation side arm of WW2 and it was the most widely issued handgun of the US Navy during that war.  Bush 42 carried one and so did JFK on the PT109. This is a must have piece for any serious US WW2 collection.
