In 95% excellent original condition we have a very scarce and highly sought after svw 45 P.38.  This is the dual tone variant and consists of a mixture of blue and phosphate finished parts. This is an all matching example with an excellent bore.  One thing that I will bring to your attention on this pistol is that the frame has been factory partially re-numbered under the phosphate.  This was either a re-issued salvaged frame or a during production corrected numbering error but it is an absolutely factory original anomaly and was done prior to the phosphate finish being applied.  The numbers are very faint and my best guess is a slave labor screw-up.    This is very typical of the last ditch piss poor quality control.   This is a decent example of a very scarce and hard to find P.38 and the price is a true bargain.
