$2,650.00
Out of stock
IN 97% ORIGINAL CRISP UTTERLY CRUDE AND ROUGH CONDITION, WE HAVE A VERY LATE END OF PRODUCTION PHOSPHATED K BLOCK GRADE III RADOM, THIS IS ABOUT 850 FROM THE VERY LAST PISTOL. ACCORDING TO THE NEW RADOM BOOK THIS IS IN A GROUPING OF GUNS THAT WERE SERIAL NUMBERED IN THE 8200 RANGE THAT ARE KNOWN TO BE EXCEPTIONAL CRUDE AND ROUGH, THIS GUN IS NO EXCEPTION AND IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS ALMOST FINISHED AND ASSEMBLED BY HAND. YOU WILL NOTICE THAT THE SLIDE AND THE MAG APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN LEFT IN THE BOTTOM OF THE TRAY AS IT WAS PULLED OUT OF THE PHOSPHATE TANK FOR SOME TIME AS YOU CAN SEE THE DRAIN HOLES ON ONE SIDE OF THE SLIDE AND MAGAZINE. PERHAPS THERE WAS AN INTERUPTION DUE TO ONE OF THE KNOWN AIR RAIDS ON THE ZNAIM PLANT AT THE TIME OR MAYBE IT WAS JUST A CARELESS OVERSIGHT OF POORLY TRAINED SLAVE LABOR. THERE ARE OTHER CRUDITIES AS WELL THE MAG RELEASE ASSEMBLY IS COMPLETELY UN-FINSISHED, LEFT IN THE WHITE AND THERA ARE NUMEROUS CASTING FLAWS. THE LANYARD RING WAS NEVER INSTALLED AS WELL. THE GUN DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN EVEN ISSUED AS THE PHOSPAHTE IS STILL ROUGH AND CRYSTALINE. THERE ARE A LOT OF DIFFERENCES IN THESE LAST MADE RADOMS AND NO TWO ARE ALIKE, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ONE LATE WAR EXAMPLE OR YOU ARE A SERIOUS RADOM COLLECTOR THEN THIS GUN IS A MUST HAVE SPECIMEN.
