Description

IN 96% ARSENAL REWORKED CONDITION, LIKE 99% OF THEM ARE. WE HAVE A PARTICULARY NICE, VERY RARE M11 DUTCH EAST INDIES ARMY LUGER WITH THE HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER BRASS PLATE UNIT MARKING. THIS LUGER WAS MANUFACTURED JUST PRIOR TO THE BEGINING OF WW1 IN 1914. THIS IS REFERRED TO AS THE M11 LUGER OR SOMETIMES THE MODEL 1906 DUTCH. THIS EXAMPLE BEARS A 1927 REWORK DATE AND HAS ONE ONE OF THE DESIRABLE JAVA ARMORY SCHOOL REPLACEMENT GRIPS. THE REALLY DEISRABLE PART OF THIS PISTOL IS THAT IT STILL HAS THE VERY RARE DUTCH MAGAZINE WITH THE UNUSUAL AND COMPLICATED SPRING TO HOLD THE BASE. THESE LUGERS SAW VERY HARD USE IN A TROPICAL ENVIRONMENT AND YOU JUST NEVER SEE THEM THIS NICE. THIS IS A SUPER EXAMPLE OF A DUTCH LUGER. ALMOST OFF OF THESE LUGERS WERE OBTAINED BY THE JAPANESE AND WERE USED BY THEM DURING THE SECOND WORLD WAR.
