Description

IN 96% ORIGINAL CONDITION, WE HAVE A VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF A CZECH ARMY ISSUED CZ24 PISTOL IN .380. THIS IS A NICE EXAMPLE OF A PRE WW2 CZECH ARMY PISTOL. THE BEST PART IS THE VERY RARE UNIT MARKING OF “VA” WHICH INDICATES IT WAS ISSUED TO THE CZECH ARMY OFFICERS MILITARY ACADEMY AT HRANICICH. CERTAINLY THE MOST DESIRABLE MARKING YOU COULD HAVE. THESE JOSEF NICKEL DESIGNED PISTOLS ARE VERY WELL BUILT TO THE POINT OF BEING OVER-BUILT FOR THE SIZE OF THE CARTRIDGE. THEY ARE QUITE ROBUST AND RELIABLE AND WERE VERY HIGHLY THOUGHT OF AT THE TIME. THIS PISTOL LIKE MOST OF THE CZECH WEAPONS WAS ALLOCATED TO THE GERMAN ARMY AFTER THE TAKEOVER IN 1938. THEY WERE KNOWN TO BE WIDELY ISSUED TO THE WAFFEN SS.
