In 95% training used condition, we have a more than decent 100% original Blued finish Waldemar Broberg Inspected Colt Service Model Ace .22lr Pistol. This pistol, number 3166 was shipped to the Commanding Officer, Springfield Armory in May of 1942.. Less than 4,000 blued models were made before the change to the Parkerized finish. These extremely rare and highly sought after pistols were the first to incorporate the “floating chamber” invented by David “Carbine” Williams which increased the recoil to adequately simulate the recoil of the .45 service pistol. These pistols were in constant service for many years training recruits how to shoot so they are rarely ever found in any decent condition, indeed this example is well above average. This is one of the most highly sought after Colt military pistols and they are few and far between. We buy every one that we see.
