In mint matching condition we have a fairly scarce 1937/38 dated Erma .22lr Conversion kit for the Mauser K98k Service Rifle. All numbered parts to the kit match and the serial number of the rifle it was associated with is painted on the inside of the box. This was probably done in order to keep proper inventory records. The kit appears to have been manufactured in late 1937 into 1938 as the mags are dated 1938 while the rest of the kit is 1937. These kits were important for training as the cost of ammunition was very expensive at the time and this would save a considerable number of Riechmarks. This was vet brought back by a Major and his Army Serial Number and name are on the box so you can research him. I would have to say this is one of the nicest of these kits we have seen.
