In 95% condition all matching including the magazine, we have a very scarce Type 14 Nambu Pistol as produced by the Nagoya Army Arsenal, Chigusa Factory. Â This is from the last month of Nagoya/Chigusa production, November 1932 and is the Highest known serial number, 7824. According to the Brown/Derby book, the highest previously known serial # was 7808. Â It may well be the final one produced. Â Â After this month’s production, the machinery was transferred to the Nambu Kokubunji Factory which resumed production a year later in December, 1933 after the factory was set up. Â This rare date/maker combination will drive any serious Type 14 collector into a wild frenzy, as you have a Pistol that is from the rarest maker from the final month’s production and the highest discovered serial number known. Â On top of all of that it still even has the original matching mag, which you just rarely ever see on these early Type 14’s. Â This pistol should certainly fuel most peoples Nambu-Mania.
