SOLD VERY RARE FN 1922 PISTOL…..1939 TURKISH ARMY CONTRACT…….NAZI CAPTURED IN TRANSIT!….VERY SHARP RARE NAZI ISSUE!

This is one of the most interesting and little known German WW2 pistols known!  In late 1939 after the onset of WW2, FN shipped a Turkish contract order of 3000 pistols for the Turkish Army officer corps marked T.C. Subay (Turkiye Cumhuriyeti Subay) “Officer of the Republic of Turkey”.  This shipment was intercepted and captured by Nazi Agents while in transit to Turkey; they never made it to Istanbul, but were instead reissued to the German Army.  To date, there are about 20 or so of these pistols known, but they rarely show up.  When they do, few people know that they are actually German WW2 pistols that never made it to Turkey.   This is one of the scarcest and little known of the Nazi used FN pistols and a real find for our clients.
