Sold JAPANESE TYPE 99 RIFLE…… MID WAR 33RD SERIES TOYO KOGYO……VET BRING BACK FROM OKINAWA…..SHARP!

In excellent all matching condition, we have a somewhat scarce mid war variant 33rd series Toyo Kogyo Arisaka Type 99 7.7mm Service Rifle.  This un-ground battlefield captured rifle was a vet bringback from Okinawa and the vet marked this information on the left side of the stock.  These mid war variant type 99 rifles are identified by the short cleaning rod, lack of a monopod and a more simplified rear sight.  The Toyo Kogyo facotry was located in Hiroshima so you know what happened to that factory.  If you collect Type 99 rifles you know that this is a somewhat un-common type 99 rifle.
