SOLD EXCEPTIONAL B.S.A. Co 1914 SHORT LEE ENFIELD RIFLE Mk III…….STUNNING WOOD…..ALL MATCHING……PRIME EXAMPLE OF THE BRITISH WW1 SERVICE RIFLE!!!

This is the finest example of a British WW1 era straight up factory original Lee Enfield Rifle that I have seen in nearly 30 years of service.  I have no idea why i’m not keeping it, I’m sure I will never see its like again………In excellent all matching condition we have a B.S.A. Co.  1914 dated Short Lee Enfield MkIII Rifle.  This is a Pre WW1 Production Rifle in the original Configuration with the Volley Sights and the Magazine Cut-off. The fore stock is a very attractive Tiger striped piece of Walnut which just adds to the allure of this piece.  Finding an original Rifle that saw the entire World War in this fine and original condition is almost unheard of, they just are not to be found and how this rifle survived is hard to fathom.  If you are looking for a prime example of the Legendary Rifle that earned its formidable reputation at Mons in August of 1914 this is it.
