Description

Here we have a fairly decent looking 1917 dated British Army WW1 issued Webley Mark VI .455 revolver which was converted in the States to shoot .45 acp by milling down the back of the frame a touch.  When these revolvers were imported back in the 1950’s most of them were converted due to the fact that British .455 Webley ammunition was largely not available.  Today, these modified revolvers are shunned by collectors due to there lack of originality, and we feel the same way but when we pick up large collections there are sometimes some unfortunate acquisitions that need to be liquidated.  That being said this is well less than half the cost of an unmodified example.
