In excellent all matching condition we have a hard to find very late war Steyr made bnz45 coded K98k Service Rifle.  This  is in the “r” production block which is not as easy to find as the “s&t” blocks.  In full Kriegsmodell configuration with a laminated stock and a very clear Eagle/H cartouche.  This this just came out of the woodwork from Baltimore and looks like it has been sitting in a closet for decades.  We did not remove the house paint specs on it which clearly show this was a neglected novelty for whoever owned it for so long.  While we have had any number of the very end of production extremely crude s&t block production examples this is the only r block we have had and although it certainly is rough it is not nearly as crude as the last production.  We think at the very cheap price we are offering this that it will be very hard for any serious 98k collector to ignore.
