SOLD US WW2 REMINGTON RAND 1911A1 PISTOL…… EARLY MARCH, 1943 PRODUCTION….. 2ND SLIDE LOGO DU LITE FINISH….VERY SHARP!

In 97%+ condition, 100% factory original and correct, we have a top example of a fairly early production 2nd Slide Logo Variant Remington Rand 1911a1 Pistol.  This pistol was manufactured in March, 1943 and has the very desirable dulite sandblasted blue finish, which on this gun is a very attractive deep blue gray color.  These early Remington Rands with this finish are highly sought after by collectors and this is a prime example that will make any collector happy. Getting an early Du-lite blue finished pistol this nice is a very hard thing to do, most of these guns went straight into the fight and were used very hard.  This is a significant find for the serious collector of WW2 1911 pistols.
