In excellent mint completely matching condition, with the sling and a mint bore as well, we have a Museum Grade example of the Mauser Model 1871 Cavalry Carbine. This carbine is unit marked to the 9th Uhlan Regiment of the Prussian Army. The carbine is dated 1876 and was manufactured by Steyr in Austria. These carbines in this top condition are highly elusive and rarely offered for sale, this is a prime example of the cavalry weapon that saw some service right through the end of WW1 and some were even said to have been used by the Volksturm at the end of WW2. Pre98 Antique, no license required for purchase.
