SOLD EXTREMELY SCARCE 41 / 42 CODE GERMAN WW2 LUGER…..VERY SHARP!…ONLY 7000 MADE

In 96+% condition, 100% factory original matching except for the magazine, we have a very highly sought after and scarce 1941 dated  42 production code (Mauser)  German Army P.08 Luger Pistol.  These pistols were made in the first 2 months of 1941 before the Mauser factory was directed by the Heereswaffenamt to change to the byf production code.  Only 7000 of the 126,000 pistols that were made in 1941 have the Mauser Oberndorf Factory  “42″  production code marking, making them highly desirable among collectors as the vast majority of the 1941 production Lugers were coded byf41.  The bore is excellent.  The grips are correctly un-numbered and 655 proofed as they should be.  This is the hardest date/.code combo to locate and we rarely ever get them in the office.
