This is a very interesting and important Nazi proofed FN Model 1922 Pistol. It may well be the final pistol assembled under Nazi occupation in August of 1944 before the Germans evacuated the FN factory. The first post occupation pistols just slightly higher in serial number were assembled in September of 1944 without Nazi WaA140 proof marks. This pistol is all matching and is in 96% condition. Its much more roughly made than earlier Nazi production examples. If you are a serious collector of German WW2 pistols or FN pistols this will be of great interest and importance to you. This very late pistol just came to the surface from a very old accumulation of pistols. We have sold some very early Nazi pistols that were on the floor of the factory when the Germans walked in, but this is the only one we have located from the time when they finally walked out!
