This is a HUGE big deal rig, a 1941 Luftwaffe Contract Walther PP Pistol with one Factory numbered matching mag, which is a pretty big deal, but the Holster is pretty awesome too, its a very rare Luftamted (Luftwaffe inspected) breakaway holster. This very rare holster is pictured on page 94 of volume 3 of Whittington, the gun was a vet bring back and came back in this holster. This holster is only the 2nd one that we have run across in nearly 30 years, it’s very much like the non maker marked Luftamted Krieghoff holsters. The early high polish waffenamted PP is quite a rare piece, the numbered mag pistols were part of a Luftwaffe contract in 1941. This really is an awesome Luftwaffe aircrew rig, one has to wonder how many missions it flew on……
