Description

In very good plus condition, we have a decent example of a 1940 Mauser Orberndorf made 42 code K98k German Army Service Rifle.  This rifle is completely factory original and is all matching (one screw is un-numbered) .  The metal is in exceptionally nice condition, with lustrous blue, but the stock drags the overall condition down a bit. The stock cartouches are there but faint and there are some gouges from use. The bore is mint and this is a very pleasant looking rifle.  This is a good solid early war rifle and we could easily have asked $2450 for it and that would be a fair price, but we have priced it at a true bargain as you know how picky we can be.  This rifle is priced to move fast!
