SOLD 1937 42 CODE MAUSER K98k RIFLE……ALL MATCHING WITH MINT SLING……..MINT SHARP EXAMPLE!!!

In excellent condition, completely matching and with a rare 1935 dated sling, we have a top example of an early production Mauser Oberndorf made 1937 dated  K98k German Army Service Rifle.  This rifle is completely factory original and is all matching down to the screws.  The bore is mint and the honey colored  walnut stock is quite beautiful; the cartouches are all clear as well.  The cartouche on the top of the hand guard is even still visible as well and you rarely see that.  This is a top example of a Mauser made early wartime production 98k with all the early features such as no sight hood and the flat butt plate and milled bands.  This is the poster boy of a 98k rifle in the classic configuration. The 1935 sling alone is worth at least $350.00.  Early dated K98k rifles in this pristine condition are rarer than double matched mag Lugers.
