Description
In 97% very sharp condition, we have a Japanese WW2 Type 14 Nambu Pistol. This is from the second Series of Nagoya production and is all matching including the magazine. This also come with a period correct Rubberized Canvas holster. As all Japanese pistol ammunition used a non corrosive primer, the bore is mint. This is a top example of the later war large triggerguard variant with the later war knurled cocking knob. The Type 14 Nambu pistol was a highly sought after war trophy from the Pacific Theater and was often referred to as the “Japanese Luger” based upon the similarity in appearance. Today, these pistols are avidly collected as there are many variants and they are all highly interesting as well as exotic.
