SOLD JAPANESE TYPE 99 RIFLE….RARE TRANSITIONAL NAGOYA LATE 7TH SERIES….MATCHING & UNUSUAL FEATURES

In excellent all matching condition we have an extremely desirable and highly sought after Nagoya Arsenal 7th series Type 99 Service Rifle.  This rifle is from the last part of the 7th series and has an unusual combination of features such as the rare mid-war rear sight, the deletion of the cleaning rod and the late cylindrical bolt handle.  These features are what make this a transition from the early production guns to the “last Ditch” variants. As such these rifles are highly sought after because these changes occurred very rapidly and few rifles are found with these features.  This rifle was just obtained from the a very extensive collection of Japanese rifles that were collected over a lifetime and there are many fine examples of rifles that you just rarely see today.
