Description
Exactly as you see it, this was a vet captured and brought back war trophy of a Pacific Battlefield. This is a late production variant Nagoya Arsenal manufactured Type 38 Arisaka rifle. The rifle is still with the Imperial crest as you would expect from a captured weapon. The bolt is not matching and they rarely are on the 6.5 weapons. The original but damaged sling is still with the rifle as well. This is a very above average condition example of this very famous Japanese Infantry arm, these rifles were used very hard for decades and you never see them anywhere near this nice.
