In 98% mint sharp condition we have a very significant firearm from WW1, a 1912 dated Erfurt Arsenal Luger Pistol. this is all matching to include one Factory original matching mag and is fully rigged out to include a very rare 1912 dated Holster in excellent condition. The bore is excellent but not mint. The pistol is a completely textbook example of a 1912 Erfurt Arsenal manufactured Luger. This year only 21,000 Lugers were produced and only 10% were unit marked.
What makes this such a spectacular and significant artifact of the Great War is that is is unit marked “29 R.M.G. 25″ which identifies it to the Machine Gun Company of the Prussian 29th Infantry Regiment, part of the 16th and 217th Divisions during the war. This pistol saw action on both the Western and Eastern Fronts. To have been in such a unit that saw so much action and to have survived is nearly miraculous. Without a doubt this is one of the most important and historical firearms from the German side of the conflict that we have the fortune to offer to you.
