IN 99% MINT CRISP CONDITION, WE HAVE A VERY SHARP TOP CONDITION EXAMPLE OF A MARCH 1944 PRODUCTION ITHACA 1911A1 PISTOL. IT IS 100% CORRECT AS IT LEFT THE FACTORY. THIS IS A REALLY CRISP LOOKING GUN WITH VERY LITTLE MORE THAN STORAGE WEAR. iT BEARS THE ITHACA QC INSPECTORS MARK OF HAROLD MAWS. IT WAS SHIPPED ON MARCH 23, 1944 TO THE NAVAL SUPPLY DEPOT IN OAKLAND CALIFORNIA. FROM THE PRISTINE CONDITION, IT PROBABLY DID NOT SEE ANY USE OTHER THAN STORAGE. ITHACA’S ARE NOT EASY GUNS TO FIND, THEY ARE THE THIRD RAREST CONTRACTOR AFTER UNION SWITCH AND SINGER. THIS IS A REALLY NICE FAIRLY EARLY EXAMPLE WITH THE LARGE P PROOFS AND IT HAS THE ITHACA LOOK TO IT. IF YOU WANT A NEW CONDITION US NAVY ISSUE ITHACA THIS IS IT!
