Description

In mint all matching condition we have a late war “last ditch” variant Nagoya Arsenal 8th Series Type 99 Service Rifle.  This is of course still with the Imperial Crest and the stock still has the cartouche as it has not been sanded.  Of note is the wooden butt plate and the overall rough crudity of this rifle which is functional but nothing much beyond that.  Locating an unground specimen of these late rifles is not easy because most of them were still awaiting distribution in arsenals at the end of the war and few were captured in combat such as this example.  This is a great rifle for the collector of the Pacific war.
