SOLD This is an absolutely awesome piece of WW2 history! Here is the chance of a lifetime to obtain on one sheet of paper the actual personally autographed signatures of the highest ranking 21 surviving leaders of Nazi Germany who were judged in 1946 at the Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal. These signatures include some the most notorious people who ever lived; Hermann Göring, Rudolph Hess, Albert Speer, Admirals Doenitz and Raeder, Field Marshals Jodl and Keitel, every one of the top tier of the Nazi leadership’s signatures.
This fantastic collection was assembled by one of the guards at the trial T/4 Frank Reckers of the 26th infantry division who were guards at the trial. Although it was forbidden the guards would fraternize with the prisoners and collect autographs for small favors such as cigarettes, so there are groupings of signatures that were collected by guards, however this is the only known complete set of signatures by all the defendants that has come to light.
These signatures are very stark and telling evidence of a highly significant and poignant event in history on so many levels. We have all seen documentaries and the newsreels of these High and Mighty Nazi leaders such as Göring strutting around waiving a baton in a magnificent state of total arrogance now brought down to the level of a caged circus monkey doing autograph tricks for cigarettes for a bunch of American kids. We think that this collection of these signatures is a very appropriate way to memorialize this history, based upon the circumstances of their acquisition. From a historical standpoint this probably belongs in a museum and I am certain that someday it will but who would not want to own this piece of history with all these signatures of these notorious leaders of WW2 all on one document. Who wouldn’t wan to own this piece of WW2 history?
