Description

In excellent minus condition, we have a 100% correct and un-messed with very rare maker 1939  Erma 27 code K98k Service Rifle.  The rifle is all matching with an excellent bore and very sharp and clear cartouches on the rare walnut stock.  The rifle is eagle H marked indicating issuance to the Heer, or German Army.  This is a classic example of an early War 98k rifle.  this has all milled parts and the flat buttplate.  It is completely matching down to the screws and it has most of the blue still present.  Erma was a rare contractor who stopped making rifles in 1941 to concentrate on MP40 machine pistols.  Erma did not make a large number of rifles and this is one of the rare codes to locate.  If you collect 98k rifles this is one of the hard one to get and you should not pass it up.  this is a very nice looking example.
