Description

In very sharp condition, we have an all matching 1943 production bcd43 code German K98k Service Rifle.  This  example was manufactured at the Gustloff-Werke Factory in Wiemar, which was one of the major contractors of the Mauser rifle during the war and is a commonly encountered production code.  This rifle has a mint bore and is completely matching.  The cartouche on the bottom of the butt is clear and readable as well and the stock has not been sanded.   This rifle is very interesting because it is one of the earliest rifles built at this plant to have a stamped triggerguard assembly. We currently have a mint nearly new condition example of this rifle for $1,000 more; this is an extremely great value, especially for the nice shape it is in.
