SOLD EXCEPTIONAL, STUNNING….. JAN 1943 PRODUCTION 1ST SLIDE LOGO REMINGTON RAND 1911A1….DU LITE…MINT NEW!

In 99% mint new exceptional stunning condition, we have a very early January 1943 production Remington Rand 1911a1 pistol.  This is from the beginning of the third month of production and is one of the first few thousand produced by Remington Rand.  It has all of the early features, such as the milled trigger, the first slide logo with New York spelled out and of course the very early DU-Lite finish.  This is an exceptionally rare pistol in exceptionally rare condition….no finer example is known.  100% factory correct, still in the cosmoline and probably un-fired.  

This pistol just came out of the woodwork, it was found in the bottom of a WW2 Naval vets foot locker as it was headed to an estate sale.  This is absolutely the rarest and most significant Remington Rand we have offered.  FAR RARER THAN ANY UNION SWITCH!!!
