This is an exceptionally fine and early German Army WW1 era Military Luger. In 98% condition, we have a 1910 DWM P.08 Un-Altered (no added-hold open) Unit marked Luger pistol totally matching to include the factory original Magazine. These early lugers have many interesting features, the most obvious being no stock lug but they also did not have a hold open devise and were numbered in the commercial style. You may also notice the unusual Unit marking style seen on these very early Wüttemberg Lugers. This Luger is marked to the 124th Wüttemberg Infantry Regiment which was part of the XIII Wüttemberg Army Corps in the war. This unit fought through the entire war mostly on the Western Front and saw much combat. The famous Desert Fox, Field Marshal Erwin Rommel, was initially an officer of the 124th Wüttemberg Infantry Regiment as well (1910-1915). As you might well imagine, to have this Luger with all of these desirable features still intact is a extremely rare confluence of events to the point of it being a very important and highly significant example of a Pre WW1 Imperial German Army Luger.
