SOLD byf 43 K98k MAUSER RIFLE…… K BLOCK WITH VERY SCARCE ELM WOOD STOCK…..MINT MATCHING & RARE!!!

This is a very scarce and extremely desirable Mauser Oberndorf made 1943 production byf43 coded MauserK98k Rifle with the very scarce and seldom seen Elm Wood Stock.  These stocks were used on a trials or experimental basis on some of the K block production rifles and are also known to have been used on sniper rifles as well.  Elm is a very stable wood like Walnut, the only disadvantage is that is is extremely difficult to work with milling tools due to the hardness and density of the wood.  The rifle is completely matching,and has an excellent bore.  This is a top condition example of a very scarce and avidly sought after Elm Wood stocked 98k and is a real find!
