SOLD 1940 42 CODE MAUSER K98k RIFLE……LUFTWAFFE ISSUE…..VERY SHARP AND ALL MATCHING

In excellent condition, completely matching and un-messed with, we have a top example of a 1940 dated Luftwaffe Eagle L marked  Mauser Oberndorf made K98k rifle.  This rifle is completely factory original and is all matching down to the screws.  The bore is mint and the stock cartouches are all clear.  The cartouche on the top of the hand guard is still visible as well and you rarely see that.  This is a top example of a Mauser made early wartime production 98k with all the early features such as no sight hood and the flat butt plate and milled bands.  This is the poster boy of a 98k rifle in the classic configuration. Early dated 98k rifles in this pristine condition are rarer than double matched mag Lugers.
