TUES JAN 7 NAZI POLICE “EAGLE/L” byf43 P.38 PISTOL, MINT CRISP EXAMPLE….RARE!, ONLY 1400 MADE!

In 98%+ mint crisp condition, we have a rare Nazi Police “Eagle/L” marked Mauser made byf 43 all blue variant P.38 Pistol.  This is a scarce and seldom seen P.38, according to Jan Still, only 1,400 of this Police “Eagle L” marked variant were made so they are RARELY SEEN.  This example is #160 so its very early in the production run.  This is a textbook example in the known serial range.  There were ever only 6800 P.38’s that were police marked at all so just getting one of these Police issued P.38’s in mint condition is a challenge for the collector.  How many survived? How many are in the states?.……..NOT MANY.   This is a completely matching example with a mint bore.  The serial number is right in the known range and the gun has the required commercial proofs as well.  These Police P.38 Pistols have very unique markings and they are highly sought after by both P.38 and Nazi Police pistol collectors.
