TUES 12-31 SCARCE SCRIPT CE42 CODE 1942 J.P. SAUER K98k MAUSER RIFLE, ALL MATCHING WITH NICE SLING, VERY CRISP!

In excellent all matching condition,  we have a very desirable example of a scarce code, hard to find 1942 production J.P Sauer manufactured script ce42 coded  K98k Mauser German WW2 service rifle.  Completely matching with a mint bore and with a really nice untouched stock.  This is a top collector or museum grade example of a mid war rifle from the most desirable of makers.  Sauer 98k’s were assembled out of mostly subcontracted parts from Suhl area gun makers and this example has a receiver that was made by Walther as you can see by the e/359 code.    The stock is completely un-messed with and the eagle H cartouche is very sharp.  ce42 coded 98k’s have always been hard to find and the original sling just puts it right over the top.  Another rifle for the true 98k connoisseur.  If you are looking for a really solid 98k rifle for your collection this is a very attractive example.  98k’s have gotten really red hot and they are getting harder and harder to find as everyone is hoarding them.
