11-29 BLACK FRIDAY SALE! SCARCE 1934 MAUSER “BANNER K” SERVICE RIFLE……ALL MATCHING….LATE PRODUCTION…..VERY SHARP!!!

In excellent minus very sharp condition, we have a very scarce all matching late 1934 production Mauser “Banner K” unattributed (non-cartouched) 98K Mauser Service Rifle.  As you are probably aware most Banner K rifles were cartouched and issued to the Postal & Railway Security Forces, the SA ,the Nazi Police apparatus and other Governmental agencies.  They are also believed to have been issued been issued to the German Condor Legion forces that were sent to assist Franco’s Army during the Spanish Civil War, this is based upon photographic evidence.   Banner K Mauser rifles are considered by collectors to be the absolute apex of the 98 Mauser rifles in terms of sheer beauty, as they were made to the highest Mauser Commercial standards.  No serious Mauser Collection can be without at least one or two examples; they are very significant in both the design and their service use.
