In excellent condition, we have a scarce TNW converted dfb41 coded Gustloff-Werke Made MG-34 light machine gun that was converted to semi-auto by TNW and therefore is not a class 3 firearm. The original gun this was converted from was nearly all matching with the exception of a few minor parts, and this was considered to have been the premium top of the line conversion that was done by them. These conversions have not been made for 2 years and will never be made again and they have rapidly escalated in value. Adding to the desirability of this set-up is the inclusion at no additional cost of 2 original unit marked snail drum mags and carrier which would be hard to locate and worth nearly $1,000 on there own.
This is like having your cake and eating it too, you get almost all of the effect of an MG-34 without having to pay 45k for the full auto variant. And are you really going to shoot that thing very often? …….I think not. This will make an awesome display and it does shoot so you can hang it out of your window and let the lead fly if you wish to wake up your neighborhood. In WW2 the German infantry squad was built to deploy this weapon as the main infantry weapon, the job of the squad was to carry the ammo and protect this gun as it pored down fire. The riflemen were there to cover the flanks and carry ammo, this was the heart of the unit. This will be an awesome display for any serious collection.
