SOLD EXCEPTIONAL OSS LIBERATOR PISTOL……NEW IN THE ORIGINAL BOX WITH THE GIBLETS…..ALL IN A HIGH STATE OF PRESERVATION!!!

In mint excellent condition, we have an extremely rare still in the mint condition original box Liberator Pistol.  While we do occasionally pick up one of these, finding boxed examples is quite rare.  This is complete with the exception of the ammunition, only 3 of the ten rounds remain. The Liberator is one of the best known pistols of WW2 and they are highly sought after.  They were developed by the OSS to be a very cheap mass produced weapon for use in the occupied countries.  They were made by the Guide Lamp division of General Motors and while approximately one million were made, almost all of these were destroyed after the war.  A few were issued in Occupied Europe notably in Greece, and there were also significant distributions in China and the Philippines. Today these pistols are almost legendary and most WW2 collectors want them.  Finding one this intact with the box is a real score and this is the nicest example we have had!
