Here is what I think is widely considered to be the ultimate item to have if you are an advanced 98k Mauser collector. We have an extremely rare seldom encountered all matching 1937 Erma made K98k cut-away Rifle. Erma was the only company to have produced these and it is estimated that less than 500 were ever made and very very few still survive. I would doubt if there are more than 5-10 of these in North America. These rifles were used in the training of armaments staff and factory workers at the various contractors and would likely been used by the military as well. Erma was the only contractor that had a dedicated training staff and these services were offered to other companies involved in the production of the rifle. you will note that many of the parts are marked with a U which is believed to indicate that the parts are Ubung or condemned.
This has got to be one of the most fascinating items we have offered; I could literally spend hours playing with it and learning all the intricacies of how a 98k is put together and works. If you are a serious and major league Mauser collector this is an absolute necessity to own!!!
