SOLD 1936 MAUSER STANDARD MODELL…..NAZI STATE ISSUE or…SS OR SA…MATCHING WITH NICE STOCK!!!

This excellent condition all matching circa 1936 production Mauser Standard Modell Service Rifle.  It  was a WW2 vet bring back from Germany.  These late production Standard Modells share a lot of the same characteristics as the K98k Service Rifles that were being built at the same time, such as a bent down bolt handle and the front band spring.  Mauser was building these rifles to complete orders to Nazi Governmental Agencies such as the Police, the SS and the SA, not to mention the Nazi Party itself.  They were in constant use during the war and many can be seen in use with the Waffen SS and SS Police units.   This is an exceptionally fine example of the commercial grade treatment these military rifles were manufactured with. They are beautifully fit and finished.  This rifle is one of the cleanest sharpest Standard Modell rifles that we have come across and it has always been a treasured war trophy.  These rifles are very tough to locate as so few were made compared to the 98k and they are highly sought after.
