SOLD PRE98 ANTIQUE VERY EARLY (#2418) JAPANESE TYPE 26 REVOLVER….1893 1st YEAR PRODUCTION!!!

In antique fine condition we have a Very Early 1893 production (serial #2418) Tokyo Artillery Arsenal manufactured Type 26 Japanese Army Service Revolver.  This is a Pre98 Antique and does not require the use of an FFL or C&R license for purchase.  This revolver would have seen service in every Japanese Armed conflict from the 1st Sino-Japanese War of 1894, through to the end of the second world war in 1945.  These revolvers saw hard use and were rebuilt and overhauled numerous times.  This one was overhauled in the late 1930’s as is evidenced by the later issued serrated grips.  These revolvers are well known for the easy access and exposure of the lock work and a very loosey goosey cylinder.  If you collect the WW2 era Japanese small arms this is a must have item and certainly one of the more interesting examples you will come across.
