This is an all matching and factory original Mauser Oberndorf late 1944 manufactured byf44 High Turret K98k Sniper Rifle. The bek coded Hensoldt 4x power Dialytan scope is numbered to the rifle on the ring which is part of the scope it’self and is exactly where it is supposed to be numbered. The optics are clear. The High Turret mounts are waffenamted and silver soldered onto the rifle with the solder slopped out on sides which is exactly as it must be to be real. The Solder has partially obscured the number on the receiver but it is still clearly visible and matching to all parts that are numbered. Also the left side of the receiver ring is waffenamted just under the mount exactly where it is supposed to be. The bolt matches and the stock as not been sanded, the Eagle/135 cartouche is very clearly observed on the right side of the butt stock. The safety is the correct milled down sniper safety in use at the time the rifle was made and the stock also has the correct checkered butt plate. The bore is in mint condition. This is an excellent minus – very good ++ condition sniper rifle that is 100% textbook correct.
