In Mint New Un-issued condition, removed from the preservative “Mummy Wrap” we have a 1955 Production Lee Enfield No4. Mk2. (F) Service Rifle. The Rifle was made at the Enfield Factory in Fazerkley and was part of the final contract run for the RAF. These rifles were imported into the States back in the 1990’s by Interarms and Century. Most were mint but issued, but a few were never issued and still in the wrap. Most of those rifles were unwrapped after purchase as was this example. We have seen them fetch as high as $2,000 recently so this is a really good value and probably a great investment. Absolutely the finest bolt action service rifle ever made, until recently they were still used by the rangers in Canada.
