In 98% minty original condition, completely matching and 100% factory original, we have a very rare 1937 production Luftwaffe proofed Krieghoff P.08 Luger Pistol. this was one of 2500 manufactured in 1937 and this one is fairly early in that years production run. The pistol still retains the original factory numbered and proofed magazine as well and is fully rigged out with an additional krieghoff proofed magazine, a rare krieghoff E/2 proofed tool and a rare krieghoff Luftamted holster. It is exactly what a Luftwaffe paratroop officer would have worn when they assaulted Eben Emael or dropped into Crete. The bore is mint. The pistol is a completely orthodox textbook example and is a long known pistol, as it is listed by serial number in the 1980 book, “The Krieghoff Parabellum” by Gibson,. This is a textbook example of a 1937 Krieghoff Luftwaffe issued Luger in top collector grade condition. To WW2 Pistol collectors a Krieghoff Luger is certainly among the “big 5” must own trophy’s and this is a prime example.
