SOLD US WW2 ISSUE SMITH & WESSON M&P / Pre VICTORY MODEL .38 SPECIAL REVOLVER……3/1942 SHIPPED TO OLDSMOBILE!!!

In 97% very sharp condition and totally matching (including the grips)  and correct, we have a Smith & Wesson 4 inch .38 Special Military & Police Revolver, perhaps one could call it a Pre-Victory Model.  What makes this so interesting was that it was shipped to  the Oldsmobile Divison of General Motors in March, 1942, clearly to be used for factory security.  Having a WW2 issued Smith with an automotive association is an extremely desirable thing, and we know many folks will be interested in a gun that was used at this location and having this association.  This is a great piece of home front WW2.
