SOLD US WW2 REMINGTON RAND 1911A1 PISTOL……JULY, 1943 PRODUCTION….. 2ND SLIDE LOGO & DU LITE FINISH….NICE!

In 95% condition, 100% factory original and correct, we have a nice example of a fairly early production 2nd Slide Logo Variant Remington Rand 1911a1 Pistol.  This pistol was manufactured in July, 1943 and has the very desirable dulite sandblasted blue finish, which on this gun is a very attractive deep blue gray color. In fact, this is one of the last batch of pistols that would have had this finish as production of parkerized finished pistols began in August.  These early Remington Rands with this finish are highly sought after by collectors and this is a prime example that will make any collector happy. Getting an early Du-lite blue finished pistol this nice is a very hard thing to do, most of these guns went straight into the fight and were used very hard.  This is a significant find for the serious collector of WW2 1911 pistols.  THIS IS A CHRISTMAS BARGAIN SPECIAL PRICE FOR THIS PISTOL!!!
