This is the rarest US Holster of the WW2 era. In excellent condition and straight out of the woodwork, we have an incredibly rare 1941 dated Boyt Manufactured M1916 Holster. The holster is marked BoyT41. This holster is part of the original US Ordnance Department 1941 educational order that also included the contract for the 1911 Pistol to be produced by the Singer Sewing Machine Co. This order was for no more than 1,000 and probably only 500 holsters, so very few exist. In nearly 30 years of business I have seen or have observed less than 5 of them. They just do not exist and I am aware of only one that is this nice. If you collect holsters or are one of the few collectors fortunate enough to have obtained a Singer made 1911a1, then this holster is the one rare accouterment that is even harder to find than the pistol. This is the chance of a lifetime to own such an impossible to find holster.
